God’s power is unrivaled. After Job and his friends (plus the younger, arrogant one) spent their time voicing how well they knew what God was doing and how He acted and thought, God Himself spoke. He quickly reminded Job that he knew very little and had even less power. God alone created and controlled heaven and earth.

Father, when things seem out of control, remind me of Your power over all. I know that, even when things are not going as I had planned, my life is in Your hands. I can trust You. You know all, control all, and care for me.
